I am a Yemeni-Dutch photographer based in London I have a background in psychology, social work and education. My practice is shaped by an interest in people, relationships and lived experience. In my work I explore themes of identity, mental health, belonging and human connection.
My work sits between documentary, portraiture and editorial photography, creating images that feel intimate and considered.
Alongside long-term personal project I work with organisations, publications and brands on editorial and commercial commissions.
